ABOUT ATTORNEY BRIAN ERWIN

Mr. Erwin is a highly experienced trial litigator and advisor.  Brian is known for tackling and resolving the toughest problems – whether by aggressively litigating high-stakes cases or acting as a trusted advisor behind the scenes. For over 10 years, Mr. Erwin has been representing clients as a criminal defense attorney. He has tried hundreds of cases to verdict, defending against all types of charges, with an unrivaled record of acquittals. Mr. Erwin has successfully defended clients in jury trials, bench trials, and contested evidentiary hearings. Often his work has resulted in acquittals and freedom for his clients.

 

Mr. Erwin is widely respected by judges, prosecutors, police officers, and other counsel and through this integrity, he has been able to negotiate unthinkable deals. Mr. Erwin is often the attorney people look to when they or their loved ones need help.

 

Mr. Erwin began his distinguished career at the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office in St. Charles, Illinois. As a former prosecutor, he handled all types of criminal cases. Specifically, he was assigned to specialized units, including the Drug Unit, Gang Unit, DUI, and Juvenile Court. Each area requiring and learning special training and expertise. It was in the wells of these courtrooms that Mr. Erwin was able to gain an advanced edge into the law, tactics, and familiarity with the complex and legal issues abound. Mr. Erwin now uses this legal and professional background to defend his clients when they have been arrested for any type of criminal charges.

 

Brian graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.A. in Finance and was a four-year All-Conference and All-Academic in Track/Cross Country. He also received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2007. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, DeKalb County Bar Association, DUI Defense Lawyers Association, and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
